This is the reason why people should undergo rigid testing before they can buy a gun.Although i'm no enthusiast,i understand it may be needed in a violent region.

Requires Android 2.3 or higher More information. The resolution of the weapons is a bit low, but thats forgivable since the app doesnt take up much space (less than 10 megabytes). The comics and animations just reflect this weird two-faced sentiment that's been going on. Animated Guns is a pretty cool app for gun aficionados. Its wrong to use (illegal) drugs for recreation but okay to use and prescribe legal psycho-actives like they weren't dangerous or hooking you at all. you can't vote until 18 or drink alcohol before 21 but you can enlist to army and learn to kill people while 16, though technically you won't be allowed to field until 18. Its okay to get some hoesfby the local strip and have fun with them and show HC-porn in mags & cable but its not okay to swim at your own pool naked or walk INSIDE your own house naked. Its perfectly okay to buy a few hand grenades and AK-74's while you wife's shopping for groceries at supermarket and take your kids to ranch for some Uzi shoot-out but not okay to show those same weapons in Cartoon. I just want to know why guns that exist in real life are not allowed to exist in cartoons when they'd have little affect on the stories? (so long as those in the story with the guns are using them in a way the plot doesn't allow)Īmerica has gone comically prim over the last 20 years. I don't want cartoons to become bloodbaths where guns are the answer to everything. Team Rocket would rob a store at gunpoint and then other stuff would happen in the episode. Batman could get grazed and then other stuff would happen in the episode. In some cartoons where the guns were allowed (early carttons (not Looney Tunes early)), the guns didn't affect the overall plot of the episode unless it was a gun safety episode. I'm not pro-gun or anti-gun, I just don't get the logic of trying to erase bullet guns from cartoons.

The last cartoon I ever remember allowing bullet guns to be shown onscreen was Batman the Animated Series and even that changed to lasers later. The people with the weird laser guns are not the superheroes or villains but common criminals and police, so why are the criminals and police not allowed to have them? People are smart enough to spot the common criminal in these shows and know they shouldn't follow the criminal's example and the police are legally allowed to use firearms.Īnd we have shows like Yu-Gi-Oh! that have the guns edited out when shown to America. Every recent superhero cartoon never seems to let any character who has a gun have a real one with bullets but instead replace it with either a club or some weird laser gun that most would never get their hands on. This is just something that's bugged me for years.
